Good "green" tib-bits

Our interesting tib-bits

1. California is the first to ban the dry-cleaning chemical, perchloroethylene (perc).  Perc is also one of the noxious synthetic chemicals used in traditional commercial carpet-cleaning solutions .   See why they are banning it (and why we don't use it!!)

2. You are not helpless in the fight against global warming. Al Gore goes inside a Lowe's Home Improvement store outside Nashville, Tennessee, to show you the five things you can buy that will help solve the climate crisis and save you a few bucks!

Newsletter #2

Dear All,

Happy 2007!  We hope it's a prosperous one for all of you.

We've had a robust start to the year, with last years customers asking us back, and a busy call log of new clients.  Word of mouth has traveled fast.  From Yale-ers to Sailors, Rough Tough Biker types to Church Mom's selling green baby wipes.  Our idea has moved and touched the full gammet.

To everyone we've met along the way, our hope with this e-correspondence is that it will unite and connect those with a greenhumancentric perspective!

As some of you have asked...we keep our costs low because we want it to be accessible to all.  Thank you for embracing our gratuity based green cleaning business model so that we can keep it affordable to everyone who needs it.

We have some fascinating tib-bits this month, the first being California's ban on perc use in drycleaning.  Perc is one of the main chemicals used in traditional carpet cleaning and it's toxicity to humans is what prompted us to create Lily's in the first place.

Enjoy reading!
